Like a lot of non-league football clubs, their base is a hub of community spirit where loyal locals come together under one roof (or occasionally a rain-soaked terrace).
Meeting the People Behind the Scenes
Recently, our Marketing Manager, Joel Peart, spent some time with Les Hare, Chairman of North Ferriby FC. What started as a ‘business’ chat soon morphed into a conversation about football, dreams, community, and the Herculean efforts of volunteers keeping the club alive.
Joel reflected:
“Being local to the area, I’ve always kept an eye on Ferriby over the years, and it’s incredible to see first-hand the energy, dedication, and sheer love that keeps this club alive. The volunteers here are absolute heroes. They make the magic happen week in, week out.”
From running youth teams across the age spectrum, to hosting Hull City Ladies matches, hiring out their facilities for charitable causes, North Ferriby FC is much more than a football club, it’s a village heartbeat.
