Summit Drive Supports Local Neighbours North Ferriby FC

Just a set-piece specialist's long throw away from our Summit Drive HQ, in the quaint village of Ferriby, sits a local gem that has always punched way above its weight: North Ferriby Football Club

Like a lot of non-league football clubs, their base is a hub of community spirit where loyal locals come together under one roof (or occasionally a rain-soaked terrace).

Meeting the People Behind the Scenes

Recently, our Marketing Manager, Joel Peart, spent some time with Les Hare, Chairman of North Ferriby FC. What started as a ‘business’ chat soon morphed into a conversation about football, dreams, community, and the Herculean efforts of volunteers keeping the club alive.

Joel reflected:

“Being local to the area, I’ve always kept an eye on Ferriby over the years, and it’s incredible to see first-hand the energy, dedication, and sheer love that keeps this club alive. The volunteers here are absolute heroes. They make the magic happen week in, week out.”

From running youth teams across the age spectrum, to hosting Hull City Ladies matches, hiring out their facilities for charitable causes, North Ferriby FC is much more than a football club, it’s a village heartbeat

Supporting Grassroots Football

Summit Drive is proud to have joined the North Ferriby story with our advertising hoarding sponsorship. It’s our way of giving a high-five to a club that, despite its size, keeps the non-league spirit alive in East Yorkshire.

Grange Lane is where culture, sport, and community collide - a bit like mixing pie, chips, and a pint on a Saturday afternoon: comforting, inclusive, and full of character.

Looking Ahead

This isn’t a one-off sponsorship. Summit Drive hopes to support North Ferriby FC on future community initiatives and projects. Whether it’s supporting youth programmes, fun local events, or cheering from the sidelines, we’re doing the neighbourly thing. Consider Summit fully onside.
