Don't worry. This isn't where we disappear into the mist.
You've found the car. You've found the deal. You've hit 'Get a quote'.
Nice work. But then what?
We know leasing can sometimes feel like there's a secret handbook everyone else got at birth explaining: finance, applications, credit checks, endless documents, delivery, the who and whens etc. but there isn't.
Relax. That's our job. At Summit Drive, we like to keep things simple.
Hence the motto: Click. Lease. Go.
1. You find your car. We get your details.
You've spotted the car you want, checked out the deal and hit ‘get a quote’.
Your part is done. Unless you want to carry on filling out the rest of the application without us, then you can do so online.
2. One of our team gets in touch
Next up, you'll hear from one of our team.
Yep, an actual human.
We'll talk through the car and the deal, answer any questions and make sure everything looks right for you.
That includes things like:
-
The vehicle you've chosen
-
Contract length
-
Annual mileage
-
Initial payment
-
Monthly payments
-
Vehicle availability
-
Expected delivery
-
Any other important deal details
Basically, no nasty surprises hiding in the small print jungle.
We'll make sure you know what you're agreeing to before you move forward.
3. Time for the application
Happy with everything?
Great.
Now we'll get your application moving.
You'll need to provide some personal, employment and financial information so the relevant checks can be completed. Unless you’ve already chosen to do this online.
It's not the most exciting part of the process.
We're not going to pretend it is.
4. The checks happen
Your application will then go through the relevant finance and eligibility checks.
Summit Drive is a credit broker, not a lender, so we'll help guide you through the process with the relevant finance provider.
This is one of those bits where patience is a virtue.
The checks need to happen properly, and the timescale can depend on your individual circumstances and the finance provider.
If we need anything from you, we'll let you know.
No news doesn't mean bad news. It usually means we're getting on with it.
5. Your car gets moving
Once everything is approved and the deal is confirmed, we're onto the good stuff.
Your vehicle can be ordered or prepared for delivery.
If it's already in stock, happy days. If it's being built or sourced, we'll keep you updated on what's happening and what the expected timescales look like.
6. Then comes the good bit...
The paperwork is done. The checks are done. The car is ready.
Now it's time to get your hands on it. We'll arrange delivery and make sure you know what's happening, when it's happening and what to expect.
How long does it all take?
The honest answer?
It depends.
We know. Not the answer you wanted. But there isn't one magic number that applies to every car and every customer.
Things that can affect the timescale include:
-
Whether your car is already in stock
-
Whether it needs to be sourced or ordered
-
Finance and application checks
-
Your individual circumstances
-
Manufacturer and supplier delivery times
Some cars can move quickly. Others take a little longer. Either way, we'll keep you updated so you're not left wondering what's going on.
